Lend Me A Tenor by Ken Ludwig
(September 18-29, September 25-27, October 2-4)
Tater Patch brings this comedic farce by Ken Ludwig to the stage with the curtain opening on a setting in a penthouse suite. The story revolves around Tito Merelli, a famous tenor in town for the opening of an operatic performance. The plot thickens when Tito is a no-show, leading to a series of mistaken identity, romantic entanglements and chaotic misunderstandings. Rapid-fire dialog, classic farcical events and comedic entrances/exits will keep you laughing.
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Ken Ludwig
(November 27-29, December 4-6, December 11-13)
Ken Ludwig’s adaptation of this family-friendly, holiday classic begins on Christmas Eve when Uncle Brierly reads the familiar lines of the holiday poem – ” ‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, even a mouse.” But wait. A mouse is stirring because Santa missed his house last year. Amos, the mouse, interrupts the story-telling and prompts his best friend, Emily, to journey to the North Pole. There they discover Santa’s Naughty and Nice list has been stolen. They must work together to retrieve it and save Christmas. Don’t miss this joyful tribute to the holiday season. It is definitely a delight for ‘children’ of all ages.
